Lighting upgrades at Tahaki Reserve and Maungawhau /Mt Eden

The Authority is upgrading lighting at Tahaki Reserve and Maungawhau / Mt Eden.

What’s happening?

Tahaki Reserve

·       Replacement of lighting poles and lights

·       Arborist monitoring and minor pruning if required

Maungawhau / Mt Eden

·       New lights installed on existing poles

·       Cleaning and repainting of lighting poles

·       Removal of one redundant light and pole

·       Upgrade of wharepaku lighting

When

Works are expected to take approximately 4 – 5 weeks starting in May.

Timing may change due to weather or supply delays.

Access

·       The Maunga and Tahaki Reserve will remain open

·       Minor / low disruption to pedestrian and vehicle access

·       Works will be completed in sections using cones and barriers
