Nau mai haere mai!
Calling for volunteers for our annual planting days 2023

Our annual Mahi on the Maunga community planting series is about to kick off and we need volunteers. Please join us in our on-going mahi to restore native vegetation and habitats for native wildlife. This year we are aiming to plant over 53,000 native plants and shrubs. With each plant we are helping to restore the mauri (life force) of these taonga tuku iho (treasures handed down).

If you want to volunteer or even have a rōpū of whānau and friends that want to volunteer, please contact us on the email below.

REGISTRATION

Please register you interest at [email protected]. Tell us what day/s you would like to attend and the number of people in your rōpū.

We will provide spades, sunscreen, water, and light refreshments. Please be prepared for all weather conditions and wear strong covered shoes or boots. Help us fight Kauri Dieback disease by bringing only clean footwear and equipment.
