Weather Advisory
Severe weather is expected across the North Island on Sunday 12 April, including strong winds and periods of heavy rain that may create hazardous conditions such as falling trees and debris.
We strongly encourage everyone to follow official advice and stay up to date with weather watches and warnings from MetService and guidance from Auckland Emergency Management.
In line with this advice, we recommend postponing visits to the tūpuna maunga while these conditions are in place. Exposed areas and high ground can be particularly dangerous during strong winds—please stay clear until conditions improve.
